Akshay Kumar once told a very touching story in an interview.

In his words "I remember one incident that took place after the film was released.A beggar came up to my car at the traffic signal, tapped on the window and asked for ten rupees. "Why ten rupees?" I replied. He said "Sir, aapki picture dekhni hai", I liked his style of begging! So I gave him fifteen rupees and told him to eat "samosas" in the interval too."

Long before he became a superstar, Akshay made a blink-and-miss appearance as martial arts instructor in Mahesh Bhatt's film Aaj! This video is of crappy quality, but the man in brown clothes is Akshay!

Akshay Kumar also sang a Punjabi devotional song called 'Nirgun Raakh Liya'. The profit made by this album was donated to the victims of the train bombings of Mumbai on July 11. That's what we call a 'badey dil waala'!
